Christmas Day

The Christmas day counter is down to zero so it is time to celebrate!

Santa filled the boys stockings to the brim with toys and a yummy bone.

The boys received lots of toys and treats from our family. Mom and Dad bought them a new piece of Agility equipment (Pause Table), unfortunately like the other kids in our area, they will have to wait until it stops raining outside to play with it in the yard.

Merry Christmas!!

Wishing all our family and friends a Merry Christmas. Polo's putting in a good word with Santa for all his four-legged friends and relatives!!

Rudy watched his favorite Christmas show - Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer - ... he had a very shiny nose ...

Polo & Rudy Show

The boys human cousin, Kathryn made them a plate for Christmas. She really captured their personalities and we think it is great! Polo and Rudy say thank you Kathryn.

Christmas Tree

Nothing like the smell of a new Christmas Tree. Polo is checking out the ornaments and likes the Santa.



We also have a Vizsla hanging on the Tree.

Just like the boys, it is an Angel (most of the time!)

Snowman's Nightmare

Rudy has become a big boy (leg lifting) and
is waiting for his first opportunity to melt a snowman.

Reindeer Rudy

Rudy has been trying to convince Santa that a Vizsla can pull his sleigh better than that other Rudy (aka Rudolph). He is training for pulling the sleigh on our walks!

Sibling Competition

Aunt Debbie and Peggy took Polo and Rudy to the Show in Winston-Salem last weekend. They competed against each other and Rudy won Best of Winners and now has 3 points towards his championship! Polo was Reserve Winners Dog and loved getting back in the ring. Polo still leads with 14 points, 1 shy of the CH before his name.

They had to separate the crowd from the dogs with a hockey rink glass so the picture is a little blurry. Polo is on the left with Aunt Debbie and Rudy is on the right with Aunt Peggy.

Flat Stanley goes Home

Flat Stanley visited EPA and then put himself in an envelope for the return trip to Elk Grove.

The boys will miss chasing him around the house.

Rudy, the Red Toy Destroyer wishes Flat Stanley luck in his future adventures with Eric!

Flat Stanley on the Run

Flat Stanley tried to make a run for it on Rudy, the Red Toy Destroyer's one eyed green lizard.




He made it to the kitchen and was caught by Rudy and his brother Polo! Oh no!














Luckily he was rescued by Rudy's earless fox. She gave him a Band-aid for the hole that Rudy made in Stanley and he felt better.


Stanley says he ready to go home to Eric's dogless house.

Flat Stanley meets Siren

Flat Stanley introduced himself to Siren ... unaware that she is the mother of Rudy, the Red Toy Destroyer!

Siren decided to see how he tasted ...

Flat Stanley didn't like that and had to find a place to hide!

Princess Siren and the Pea

Rudy's mom Siren is visiting for the week. Siren approves of our new "Dog Friendly" king size bed and loves to sleep with her head on one of our pillows.

No matter how big the bed is, Vizsla's love to snuggle and will sleep next to you. Siren is shown below sporting the newest Vizsla fashion statement, a green boa.

Grammy and Papa Visit

Rudy met Grammy and Papa and loved to have Grammy rub his back. Polo also tended to stand near Grammy just in case she wanted to give him a rub.

Polo found a great spot next to Papa and thought Frankie would be jealous! Football games were a great time to take a nap with Papa.

We do not have any new pictures of Frankie, our English Springer Spaniel cousin!!

Hannah the Banana

Polo's sister Hannah (left) visited with Aunt Debbie.

The boys and Hannah had a great time!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!
The boys have a visitor this week from their human cousin Eric. His name is Flat Stanley and he arrived in an envelope and we are happy to have him visit. Rudy loaned him his costume so he could go trick or treating and he got lots of candy.


Flat Stanley is a class project for Eric.

Agility Lesson in Hillsborough

We practiced for Halloween today! Rudy wore his costume after a great Agility lesson with Melanie Miller and showed off his new jester outfit. Rudy loves the weave poles and mastered 12 poles and tried to get his Dad to follow Melanie's directions. Looking forward to all of the great dog treats on Halloween.
